I was at the bar at the Crosspool Tavern in Sheffield and a young lad, maybe 6 or 7 years old, came to get a £2 coin changed for the toy machine. It takes £1. He was very polite , and his mum came over to check he was being. I had a spare £1 in my pocket so I gave it to him and told his parents he was very polite and well mannered.

EDITOR SAYS:

You know that’s a really good good deed. They used to say it takes a tribe to raise a child… truth is, our societies and cultures raise them, all the time, and you made a difference to that young mind. And his future. £5 donated to Mind. Thank you.
