783. Easter food parcel delivery

Easter is a profound time of year. I can feel the emotions of the season in a genuine sympathy. It’s not like Christmas, that emotionally just feels commercialised and ‘holiday festive’. Easter feels troubling, upsetting, there’s grief, it’s like it’s in the air, or in me, it’s not a social contagion, there’s no social pressure to feel grief of sadness, and even in the Churches there isn’t what I’d call an influence of it. But I feel it. I think if I were alone on a desert Island, with no idea of what month it is, as Easter approached I’d feel melancholy and somewhat mournful.

And then it all passes after Easter Sunday, it’s a relief.
