769. Asylum seeker and daughter

She’s from Sierra Leone, her daughter is two now. I was supporting them last year, she invited me to her daughters first birthday.

The child is now toddling around and speaking, and they are no longer in shared accommodation.

The mother once cooked me the best chicken I’ve had in my life.
