588. Sometimes the money doesn’t matter

By bird_lovegod | 30 November 21 04:38pm | Good Deeds

three of the guys wanted to come to Church with me, and had an amazing time, a transformative time, ‘the anxiety and depression just left me’. One of them was staying informally with the other two, and needed various things, so I went to Decathlon and bought him a sleeping bag, and pillow, and new shoes, and a fleece. Then on to Aldi, where I bought him some trousers, and a hat, and a mattress cover, and thick socks, and for the household together, loads of food, and toiletries, and bathroom stuff.

No delivery photo because I didn’t want to take one, it was a special day, and the three people feel like family now, friends as well.

£60.95 from Decathlon and £79.17 from Aldi. Priceless change from an hour at Church.
