386. Referral by housing association

By bird_lovegod | 26 January 21 06:18pm | Good Deeds

He was in a sheltered housing facility, which has now closed, and was a horrible dump anyway, looking and feeling like a prison, and costing £2000+ a month per resident.

He’s been moved to a flat at the other side of the city, 14km away, and had pretty much no food in. Bought him a 4 bag shopping, a lot of everything, and I remember him saying he could cook bolognese so got him plenty of fresh ingredients and a bag full of veg, and fruit, all very good value from Aldi. Asked him if he needed anything else, he said a hoover, and a DVD player. Maybe we’ll try to sort that.

£39.33 from collective fund.
