The Future of the Art Market Unconference is nearly here!

By bird_lovegod | 8 November 19 12:52pm | Art and Creativity

The Future of the Art Market Unconference will provide a unique opportunity for artists, collectors, gallerists, entrepreneurs and other professionals operating at the intersections of contemporary art practice, technology, social change, diversity and commerce come together to debate current and emerging trends impacting the market for contemporary art in the UK.

Unlike a conventional conference with panel discussions and presentations, an unconference is a collaborative, crowd-sourced event focused on proactive debate and interactivity.

As a delegate, you will be invited to take an active role in shaping our agenda for the day, which is expected to focus on topics such as:

  • Will blockchain enable new distribution models for art?
  • What is the role of the art gallery in a world where artists can sell art directly via social media?
  • Do brand collaborations undermine artistic credibility?
  • In the future, will artists’ careers become more or less sustainable as a result of technology?

More than 200 industry leaders and professionals from across and beyond the contemporary arts sector are expected to attend this important half day event, which coincides with the publication of Creative United’s Future of the Art Market Report.

Tickets and more information are available HERE.
