Ahhh this is better than ‘recycling’ … making it into art.

I came across a Venezuelan artist that created a mural out of 200,000 plastic bottle caps. The article here, on Bored Panda, which is actually quite decent for articles on art.

Perhaps this is what we should do. Rather than shipping plastic around the world, to be ‘recycled’ which frequently translates as dumping it in slums for children to pick through, maybe we should make art out if it instead.

Art from rubbish. Seems logical. There’s a fair bit of rubbish art around already.
