489. Her partner passed away

Mr J was one of our first clients, right back in the beginning of the pandemic, we used to take him food shopping, he lived on the 3rd floor of an estate near the City Centre. This lady, his friend and partner, was usually at the flat to help him. Mr J fell a few months ago, was taken to hospital, then a hospice, and passed away a few weeks ago. I chatted with her, brought shopping and flowers, and just spent time.
