That’s all I can really say for now. Awaiting e-tickets. Bought and paid for on my Revolut Metal card. Insurance included.
Leaving in 2 months 4 days.
Plenty of time to raise some more money. And to prepare myself.

I am with Sunrise, as is my teammate Olivia. We have an on-site hospice which used to be quite busy but is now less used because increasingly people want to die at home. We are interested in a community hospice project, providing end-of-life care, possibly even morphine, and also emotional/spiritual/medical skills support for the family caregivers. It would be a re-launch of our hospice with upgraded skills, younger staff, new vision. We are at the fundraising phase, and after we have funds, we are ready to hire and train, then launch. Fundraising is a bit unpredictable! We do have other work in progress though.

I’ll outline my project:
It’s called Compassions, based on the scripture that the Lords Compassions never fail.
The intention is thus:
To travel to Cambodia in October,To find people, individuals and families, who are in need. To provide for those needs, howsoever this is possible and I am able. To document the process in the form of a book, and possibly a documentary.
I am an artist, and a servant of Christ, and also a businessman, a journalist, and a writer.
I hope to be able to combine my skills and gifts to deliver some of the Lords compassion to those in dire need.
I hope for the outcomes of relief of suffering, increased faith, renewed hope, and new beginnings.
Would I be able to work with you and your organisation for a couple of weeks on this journey?
This will involve being included in your day to day activities, meeting the people you support, and getting to know them, and their situation.
I will where possible provide practical support for some of these people and their families, there being a modest budget for doing so.
Each of these people would, I hope, receive some form of compassion from the experience.
