841. A bit of tough love

This lady has a world of problems, and takes zero care of herself in any respect or regard. The state of the gas top up card and paper shows it all. I told her to get cleaned up. Physically, mentally, spiritually, and from drugs, which I know she abuses. I’m not happy delivering to her, she needs to do something for herself. I bought her various soaps and cleaning materials, for her and the flat. Next time she gets in touch, I’m going to tell her, if she doesn’t look clean, if her hands are not clean, and her face isn’t clean, I’m not buying her anything.

Writing this, it occurs to me, this is how one might treat a small child. It’s basically where she is. I’m going to require some sort of reciprocal action from this lady in future, she has to do something for herself before I will do something for her.
