Another lady I haven’t heard from for many months got back in touch, she had no food or electric. It’s good that we can be here to help people with these emergencies, there really isn’t anywhere else that can respond quickly and actually deliver people what they need.

Bought her a good load of shopping from Aldi then added £20 to her pre pay meter. The receipt makes me chuckle ..,. It says

“please remember; top up your meter with enough credit to last over the winter period.”

I wonder which CSR / care for customers box that made a tick happen in.

These people can’t afford to top up for more than a few weeks at a time at best !
