These requests for help are generated by posting cards through doors of flats in hard up areas. The cards have a text number for people to use if they need food and are struggling. The response rate is around 10%, for every ten postcards we deliver, someone texts. There are tens of thousands of flats that qualify for this kind of service. Just in Sheffield.
