Leeds Company Celebrate ‘Plastic-Free July’ Initiative: From Reusable Makeup Remover Pads To Bamboo Chopping Boards
EcoVibe have launched a new initiative aimed at reducing the use of single-use plastic. ‘Plastic-Free July’ will run throughout the month to highlight simple and sustainable alternatives to everyday household products.
The following month will see the company sharing a series of blogs, guides and commitments across their website and social media to promote a new normal that focuses on eco-friendly alternatives to encourage a reduction in the use of single-use plastic.
Plastic-Free July coincides with EcoVibe’s bid to return to a ‘New Normal’ as lockdown restrictions begin to ease. Each week will focus on a different theme to show how each household can do their bit for the environment.
The first week covers kindness, to continue the recent acts of kindness seen over the recent crisis. ‘Plastic-Free July’ will help promote a plastic-free collection of popular products designed especially to be kinder with a range of products from reusable makeup remover pads to bamboo chopping boards. Each product is vegan, cruelty-free, preservative and toxin-free.
A spokesperson for EcoVibe said: ‘As our daily routines start to change and we begin to go back to reality, we want to take the chance to reset and create a new ‘normal’ which is low impact, kind and sustainable. It’s time for us all to create the new normal we want to see’.
Since their launch in 2018, EcoVibe have helped to prevent over five tonnes of plastic from entering the environment.
