Leeds-based Widd Signs creates striking store signage for M&S
A Leeds-based digital and traditional signage specialist has completed a six-figure project for retail giant Marks & Spencer.
Geldard Road-headquartered Widd Signs designed and installed striking new exterior brand signage on behalf of Audas Project Management at the retailer’s flagship Market Street store in Manchester.
The eye-catching signage, made from stainless steel and acrylic, includes two 12-metre long cantilever signs which run vertically down the sides of the store, in a feat of engineering that took two days to complete.
Commenting on the project, Widd Signs Managing Director Gary Williams said:
“These signs are the latest to be created in a partnership that has seen Widd design and install exterior signage at M&S stores all over the world, over the last three decades.
“We’re proud to serve as a trusted supplier to M&S, and delighted to have the opportunity to once again showcase the breadth of our industry-leading capabilities, from consultancy and design through to production and installation, at one of their flagship stores.”
Steve Bray, Director at Audas Project Management, said:
“This was a challenging project, particularly in relation to the design and installation of the vertical signs, and we’re delighted with the results.
“The professional and proactive approach the team at Widd Signs demonstrated in overcoming the various challenges is a credit to their business, and their attention to detail when creating and installing this high-quality signage has resulted in an extremely happy client.”
