Sheffield 913. A blessing from an Old Testament Prophet

I went to Berkley Precinct on Ecclesall Road to find someone to help. There’s a guy selling the Big Issue, I say hello, his name’s Ezekiel. He came here 6 years ago, from Romania. I told him he had a cool name, one of the Old Testament Prophets. He didn’t know that. We chatted, he asked me to buy a Big Issue, I said I would, and offered to get him some shopping as well.

I went to the cash machine and got him £10 for the Big Issue, it costs £5, vendors get half of that. It’s a hard job they do. I told him to keep the change. He said thank you and God bless you.
