£20 to the Big Issue seller in Fulwood.

I’ve seen him outside the Co-op several times, this time I decided to help him out with a £20 donation. Before I gave him the money I asked him his name, Joseph, and how things were going selling the Big Issue. He had been there since half nine, it’s now 2pm, he’s sold 2 magazines for £5 each and made £2.50 from each one.

He says business was better before the Big Issue got so expensive, and he had a better area where he knew many people but he lost it when he got ill. His goal is to one day get a real job. I gave him the money, asked for a photo for this magazine, and am wondering how we can help more.
