9./ A book shared with a brother.

By bird_lovegod | 12 December 18 02:57pm | Good Deeds

I ordered a book online, Letter from Birmingham Jail, by Martin Luther King. It was reviewed on EM earlier.

It only cost £1, so it wasn’t a big deal to give it away, financially speaking. But books have power. They can move minds, and because they can move minds, they can move mountains. Some books can move hearts and souls. This is one of them,  and as such it has the power to move all things, Power is the ability to create change, this book has power. Sharing it felt like sharing love, and goodness, and truth, and encouragement.

I don’t need to claim back £1, thank you. But I might claim back £10, and buy ten more copies. Let me think on that for a day…

I’ve decided to buy 3 more copies and give them to people. I’ll claim back £3 please.

PS I bought them on Hive.co.uk it seems more ethical than Amazon.
