Scared of heights?
Having just watched the trailer for Free Solo, and read the article in National Geographic, I feel slightly nauseated.
Climbing a 3000 ft wall, without ropes.
It can only end one of two ways.
I once climbed about 60 ft , solo, and that felt pretty terrifying, especially the realisation that you can’t afford to get terrified, that you are on your own, that if you fall you’re definitely going to get badly hurt or die (in my case) or definitely die (falling from half a mile up).
